Get started in 3 steps
Download & extract
Grab the Windows app — one .zip (~130MB download, ~500MB unzipped), yours to keep. Right-click it and choose Extract All. The same download works for Free, Pro, Studio, and Lifetime.
Run it
Open the extracted ICantSing folder and double-click ICantSing.exe. Running it from inside the zip won't work — extract first. Verify the Windows publisher and signature before you proceed.
Create account & paste key
Open I Can't Sing, create your account, and paste your license key from your email. No key yet? Free mode works right away.
System requirements
- OS: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- RAM: 8GB minimum, 16GB recommended
- Disk: ~500MB free
- Microphone: any mic works — built-in, USB, or headset
- Recommended: a USB audio interface (e.g. Focusrite Scarlett) for ~10–20ms latency that feels instant
- Internet: not required to run — everything processes locally
Troubleshooting
Windows shows a security warning? Stop the install and verify the publisher/signature from the official download first. If it cannot be verified, contact support rather than bypassing the warning.
No sound? Open Audio Devices in I Can't Sing and pick your mic as input and headphones/speakers as output. Windows often defaults to the wrong device.
Noticeable lag? Latency depends on your hardware — use a USB audio interface and select the ASIO driver. Built-in laptop audio always feels a little slower.
Biometric sign-in not working? It needs localhost or a real domain for security — sign in with email + password instead; same account.
